Fortunately I didn't have to seal the two sides, the water can still go between the twist and the wall. That made things a lot easier :P

I realised that the diameter shrinks when it's bent, but I just made a flat piece that fits the tube. After bending I cut out the 10cm that was best shaped, the flat piece was 30cm long.

For gluing I used acrylic glue, but I'm sure you've got stuff like that
