Why not getting a longer strip of acrylic (longer then needed!) and carefully PULL it while you heath and bend it, that will give a much better result.
Maybe you could also use a pipe with the diameter of the inside of the ring and one with an inner diameter same as the outside diameter of the ring, so that if you slide the bigger pipe over it the acrylic is pushed between the two pipes (now THAT is complicated  ). Just some idea's . |
